Get your underwater photos taken with this perfect experience for the novice or pro freediver alike with Advanced Freediving Instructor and Underwater Photographer Nicolas Winkler.
Growing up in the warm waters of the Caribbean, casual snorkelling soon led Nicolas to venture deeper down reef walls. He relished the freedom to glide effortlessly through the water and is addicted to the freefall as gravity pulls him down on deep dives. When not taking photos underwater, Nicolas is preparing for his next freediving competition.
With almost 20 years’ experience as a freediver, Nicolas is a PADI Advanced Freediving Instructor, coach and competitive freediver with over a dozen national records for the small island of Grenada and founding member and current president of the Halifax Freediving Club.
Hancheng has become a PADI Freediving Instructor since he was 19. He has lots of diving experiences around south-east Asia. The warm crystal clear water and endless fancy marine creatures deeply attracted him. He also had lots of competition experiences, and holds a few provincial records of Nova Scotia.
Freediving could be difficult, however, Hancheng is super patient and responsible. With his special teaching style, you will find tons of fun during his course. He aims to get more people enjoy freediving in a safe and confident way, that’s the reason he and his friends founded the Halifax Freediving Club and stayed as a broad member for a while.
